She's phenomenal in sales and has the track record to prove this. When she acts as your buyers agent is where I was so amazed. Her family has had close ties with being custom home builders. This along with the mountains of experience are what set her apart. She knows not only how to negotiate but what for as well. The background with builders in her family give her an incredible eye for detail. I was totally ready to just sign in on our first and second home but Shawn walked through and marked off so many things that needed adjusting or touch up etc. This was so crucial. "Our process started over a year ago. We were living in downtown Raleigh and wanted to move to Wake Forest to be closer to my work. Over a 6 month period, we had met with several other real estate representatives as we visited open houses in the area. This had been very frustrating as most were very high pressure sales representatives. During this process we met Heather Proctor. While looking at new houses with Heather, we decided it might be better for us to rent in the area for awhile to ensure we liked the area. Most agents would have been frustrated with us but not Heather. She immediately started helping us look for a rental property and with her help we found the perfect property in the area we wanted to live. We stayed in contact with Heather during the year and a half that we rented. Highly Recommend! I have known Shawn for years. She was our first call in April 2022, when we were considering moving out of Raleigh. Shawn brought her new partner Kerri Ross with her for our initial meeting. Honestly, we were a bit skeptical; Shawn seemed like a one woman show. We could not have been more wrong! We got 2 rockstars!! Their pricing strategy and roll out/coming soon was perfect and resulted in multiple, high quality, over ask offers. This was especially impressive at our high-end price point. The recommendations that Shawn suggested to get the house ready to show/sell were equally wise and budget conscious. I have never worked with anyone who communicates like Kerri. Her accessibility and response time is unmatched. Selling your home is stressful and there are lots of questions. Kerri was exceptional with keeping us updated from the initial contractors to get the house ready to show all the way to the end with agent feedback and all other details to ensure a smooth transaction.
