Heather is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker and she is the premier Listing Partner for Shawn Britt's Team.  Heather brings financial expertise, entrepreneurship, and analytical thinking to the real estate process.  She is a graduate of The University of North Carolina with a B.S. in Business Finance.

She spent the first 15 years of her career on both the buy and sell side within the alternative investment industry. Investor and brokerage clients have included high net worth individuals, fund of funds, family offices, hedge funds, refineries, municipalities, and pension & retirement plans.  The last 7 years she has been portfolio manager for a commodity hedge fund with a prime focus designing low latency trading strategies within the energy derivatives market.  She was also primary contact and decision maker for the funds relationship with auditors, tax specialists, third party custodians, and legal advisors among others.  This experience, along with being a Raleigh Native, enables her to effectively and efficiently analyze real estate opportunities and explain them in a manner that all clients can understand and feel comfortable with.

Heather's primary focus is on researching property data, preparing market analyses, coordinating the staging process (e.g. photos and virtual tours for homes prior to listing), and is responsible for the MLS listing once the home is ready for showings.  Heather also works closely with showing agents to provide answers and information regarding each of our homes listed.  As the Listing Partner, Heather juggles multiple tasks throughout the day and is attentive to all the details -- from the day property is listed -- until the day an offer is received.  She especially enjoys finding ways to handle tasks for clients frenzied by the selling process and is an expert at creating win-win situations for all involved!
